Sonoma County Sol Await US Open Cup Bracket Draw

The Sonoma County Sol will find out either later tonight or tomorrow (May 27th) who they will play and the location of that game in the First Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. The First round will be played on Tuesday, June 9th.


The US Open Cup government body have changed the format of the tournament to make it more regionalized in the early rounds. This means the Sol will be faced against either an amateur or professional team located on the west coast. USOpenCup.com has released a spoiler regarding the possible brackets for the tournament.
