Head Coach

Benjamin Ziemer has been named the Head Coach of 2009’s Sol Men’s Semi-Professional Soccer Team after leading the Sol to a NPSL Western Regional Championship. Ziemer is the Assistant Coach of the Sonoma State University Men’s Soccer Team. He has developed and manages the NorCal Premier Soccer League.

Benjamin played youth soccer and high school soccer in Sonoma County and began his collegiate career at Fresno State and Santa Rosa JC before playing his last two seasons at Sonoma State Unversity. While at SSU Benjamin earned All-Conference and All-Far West Honors. He also spent time in Germany playing in the 3rd and 4th Professional Divisions.

Benjamin has coached boys and girls of all ages for over 20 years. He has coached for Sebastopol United, Dixie, Rohnert Park Express, and Santa Rosa United. In 1997, he became the first Director of Coaching in Sonoma County when he was hired by Rohnert Park Express. Benjamin has also coached for the Olympic Development Program (ODP) State Teams. He has been a Hoek Method Camp coach for over eight years and has directed over 150 Ziemer Brother camps in Northern and Southern California, Oregon and Nevada. Currently holds a USSF ‘A’ coaching license and German ‘B’ license.

Currently the General Manager of NorCal Premier.
